The II edition of the University Diploma in Periodontology is currently underway, and has been since the month of July, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. This program aims to review and update the information available on the aetiology, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases, and it is sponsored in part by Perio·Aid.
This advanced blended learning course will give Oral Health practitioners the ability to incorporate periodontal therapy into their overall dental treatment plan.
The course ends in January, although before this, professionals should have reached their proposed goals through two classroom teaching modules and theoretical lessons. The different activities include: surgery on pig jaws, solving clinical cases and attending interactive live surgery.
With this initiative, it is Perio·Aid’s intent to support practitioner training.
