Treating a Patient with Chronic Generalised Moderate Periodontitis

The clinical case presented below shows the treatment of an adult patient with chronic generalised, moderate to severe periodontitis. The treatment performed included a hygienic phase entailing patient motivation and OH instruction, as well as a recommendation to stop smoking along with quadrant by quadrant scaling and root planing. This case also presents resective surgery on one quadrant to eliminate residual pockets and the final 1-year results.
